Law enforcement officials have found thousands of web sites online that buy this type of information. eRecon is a program that will search the internet for the social security number, driver’s license number and any other personal information that belongs to their members that is being sold on the internet.

eRecon is “a web search program that is constantly looking for your information.” Once the program does find information belonging to a LifeLock member, that member is alerted by LifeLock so they can quickly change bank accounts, cancel credit cards and more.
